    Huge shout out to Oli @_projectplanet_ who is swim Huge shout out to Oli @_projectplanet_ who is swimming an incredible 96 miles along the Jurassic Coast from Exmouth to Poole to raise funds and promote awareness of the problems and environmental damage caused by careless littering. With Roy @cleanjurassiccoast on kayak support, they’ve battled thr” storms, ocean swells, rain, high winds & jellyfish to get to Chesil Cove where, today, they face the challenge of making it through the ferocious Portland Tide Race and then on through St Aldhelms, Peveril and Old Harry Tide Rips before landing at their final destination in Studland sometime this week. To these men.....as well as to the fearless Erin @jcbeachcleaner who have all done so much to highlight the harmful impact of plastic pollution, the need to educate, inform and connect ourselves to our beautiful planet, prevent rubbish rather than just react to it and to challenge the companies who promote single use plastic as well as those that mismanage our #unescoworldheritagesites and, likewise, to anyone who has ever picked up trash that wasn’t theirs to take - we salute you and are humbled by your combined efforts to keep a #cleanjurassiccoast and to reinforce the message that though we inhabit this earth we must #leaveonlyfootprints If you want to be a part of this amazing cause please consider donating a few funds or even just a little time to litter pick your own and other people’s rubbish...Link to JustGiving page in @_projectplanet_ bio 🙏🏻Day 5. Like an old school diesel engine, he just keeps on going. Stroke after stroke after stroke. This is stuff legends are born from. @_projectplanet_ is a legend. Racking up another 16.7km on a calm sea, we passed the featureless but ancient Chesil Beach, a natural sea barrier. Landing at Chesil Cove after a 4 hour swim, knowing we have to traverse Portland Bill today, we're looking forward to more settled weather. Fingers crossed! Thank you to @life_being_well for joining us on her paddle board (and for snapping some good pics!). Usual support at the end from @gillgreen2020 and @lordgreenofstur and we had the lovely @tesscox1502 (who waved us off from Abbotsbury with @yatesy73 and @louisp_photography) supplying food

    As a #holidayhome just a couple of miles from #dur As a #holidayhome just a couple of miles from #durdledoor and #lulworthcove these are images we wouldn’t normally share....Better to look away and pretend it’s not happening than shout it out for the outrage it is...This is what remains of the rubbish left after the heroic voluntary efforts of @jcbeachcleaners and team had tidied up the trash left behind by the hordes of human invaders who trampled this historic #unescoworldheritage site at the weekend. While we are all personally responsible for our own conduct and rubbish removal we appeal to those privileged to manage this land #lulworthestate to do more to inform, contain and control the crowds especially during the #covid19 crisis.     Following Government advice we have made the diffi Following Government advice we have made the difficult decision to close The Pink House Lulworth until 24/04/20. This decision has been made with the health, safety and welfare of our guests in mind. All of our guests booked to stay prior to this date have been refunded in full. Guests due to arrive in May who have booked directly and prepaid a booking deposit have been offered the opportunity to cancel now and use their ‘Pink House Hospitality’ voucher towards any new dates at any time in the future. This crisis will test us all but time will pass and all the beautiful beaches, coastal paths and countryside of Dorset will still be here waiting for you all to appreciate 🙏🏻

    1. The Pink House is lovely, very well situated to get to all the great beaches and sites in Dorset. The home itself is very warm and welcoming, we were very comfortable there and enjoyed dinner in the garden almost every night. We'll definitely be looking to see if it's available next time we come to Dorset.

    4. Deb & Johns' place is fantastic. We were a group of 8 + 1 dog and it was perfect for our weekend away celebrating our mums 60th. Situated in a quiet part of Dorset, and a short drive to Lulworth Cove / Durdle Door. The house was cosy and very welcoming, with an incredibly equipped kitchen and beautiful morning views of the fields. Deb was very quick with responding to any messages and she provided a welcome pack which answers anything and everything about the house and things to do :) We really didn't want to leave and we will be back for sure. Highly recommend !

    5. What a beautiful location! The view from the house over rural Dorset fields is beautiful and we were spoiled for local walks. And a family with young children we were ideally placed to enjoy the local activities which were helpfully listed by our hosts. We had a fab holiday.

The Pink House is a great place to stay; lovely house, well located for lots of beaches and sightseeing, great (dog proof!) garden which seems to get sun all day, a well-equipped kitchen and great views over open fields. Deborah and John were great hosts too. They replied to messages quickly both during booking and while we were staying and they left a lovely welcome hamper for us on arrival. Great place to stay all round!

    7. We had an exceptional family long weekend in the Pink House. It was perfectly located for Lulworth Cove, Corfe Castle, Monkey World and a host of other perfect family activities. Deborah was a great host with quick communication and a wide range of suggestions and advice on the local area. The cottage was perfectly equipped - we would definitely recommend and we will be booking here again!

Couldn’t have hoped for a better stay or position to explore the beautiful Dorset coast and countryside.     10. Superb house, with everything you could want and more. This really felt like a home away from home. Perfect, peaceful location...nothing to disturb you except the noise of the farm animals ...idyllic........it was perfect for us. Location so peaceful...with only a short drive we were able to visit everything we wanted to see. We particularly enjoyed evening walks to the Castle.
